You may or may not know there are ICBC centres throughout the lower mainland, including in Surrey. The system works generally like this. If you’re in a car accident in Surry, for example, then your claim will start out (and may conclude) with ICBC Surrey.
Now Surrey is a large area and so ICBC set up two Surry ICBC centres. The ICBC Surrey locations are:

But …
what most people don’t know is you don’t have to talk to anyone at ICBC – whether ICBC Surrey or elsewhere about your injury claim. Notice I said injury claim. If your car was involved in a car accident, then by all means get your car estimated and fixed. Generally the car repair process is straightforward and there is no need for a lawyer to get involved. After all, you need transportation as soon as possible.
What I hear from clients though, is when they go to an ICBC centre such as ICBC Surrey, to deal with their car, they’re often asked about their injuries. This is when you don’t have to say anything if you’re not sure what you should be saying. In other words, if you want to talk to a lawyer first, you can. It’s as simple as that. You don’t even have to tell them you want to talk to a lawyer first.
If you decide not to talk to ICBC about your injury claim, then you should see an injury lawyer fairly quickly because there are documents ICBC needs in order to eventually process your ICBC injury claim. If you hire us, we take care of this paperwork for you. You don’t have to worry about whether you’re filling it out correctly or saying something you shouldn’t.
Let us help you get your injury claim going with ICBC from the start.
