New clients hire us at all stages of their personal injury claim … sometimes within days of their injury and sometimes many months after their injury incident.
In our experience, many people with injury claims have questions about their claim immediately after getting hurt. This is particularly the case for people who suffer significant injuries and are in the hospital for a prolonged time.
When you’re hurt, it can be hard to focus on recovery if you’re concerned about the legal aspects of your claim.
Instead of waiting until you, a family member, or friend is discharged from the hospital to get questions answered, our personal injury lawyers can meet with you in the hospital.
Sometimes, we meet only with family members and/or friends if the injured person is not well enough to speak with anyone … especially about dealing with the legal aspects of their injuries.
How do I set up a hospital consultation?
If you’re in the hospital, you, a family member, or friend can call us toll free at 1-855-467-0505 to schedule a time when one of our personal injury lawyers can meet with you at the hospital.
With an extensive support staff and several lawyers on our personal injury team, we can usually have a lawyer meet with you quickly if that’s your preference.
Can the lawyer make several visits if necessary?
Yes. If it’s a prolonged stay and you, family members and/or friends would like to meet several times, we can do so. Just let us know.
What about visits after the hospital?
If you cannot travel after being discharged from the hospital, we can continue meeting with you and your family at a location convenient for all involved, such as in a home. We also offer telephone consultations.
Will I be charged for a hospital consultation?
We offer free initial consultations for personal injury claims. Our free consultations extend to hospital visits. So, no, you will not be charged for a hospital consultation.
Do I have to sign anything when you visit the hospital?
No. However, if you wish to hire us to be your personal injury lawyer, you will need to sign Contract for Legal Services.
Our fees are based on contingency, which means that our fee is based on a percentage of the amount we recover for you. Legal fees are not paid until we recover compensation for you.
Will you deal with ICBC and/or other Insurance Companies?
Yes. If you hire us, then we step in and take over all correspondence and dealings with ICBC and/or other insurance companies on your behalf.
